- National Clearinghouse for English Language Acquisition and Language Instruction Educational Programs (NCELA)
Funded by the Office of English Language Acquisition (OELA), NCELA collects, analyzes, synthesizes, and disseminates information about language instruction educational programs for English language learners and related programs. - What Works Clearinghouse
An Institute of Education Sciences (IES) site that reports on the effectiveness of educational programs, products, practices, and policies as evidenced by research. - Doing What Works
Based on findings from the What Works Clearinghouse, this IES site is aimed at helping educators and administrators put effective, research-based educational techniques into practice. Includes practice guides, audiovisual examples, and tools for using proven teaching practices. - Regional Educational Laboratories
The Institute of Education Sciences's Regional Educational Laboratory Program (REL) consists of a network of ten laboratories that serve the educational needs of a designated region by providing access to high quality, scientifically valid education research through applied research and development projects, studies, and other related technical assistance activities. Individual RELs are accessible through this main site.
The Office of Elementary and Secondary Education provides a wealth of resources through its Comprehensive Center network, which includes 16 regional centers that provide technical assistance to States within defined geographic boundaries and 5 content centers that provide expert assistance to the regional centers to benefit States and districts nationwide on key issues related to the goals of No Child Left Behind (NCLB).

AACC implements, evaluates, and improves assessment and accountability systems so that states and districts can reach the NCLB goal of academic proficiency for all students. - Center on Innovation & Improvement (CII)
CII's mission is to help regional centers in their work with states to provide districts, schools, and families with the opportunity, information, and skills to make wise decisions on behalf of students. - Center on Instruction (COI)
COI provides scientifically based research and information on K-12 instruction in reading, math, science, special education, and English language learning. - National Comprehensive Center for Teacher Quality (NCCTQ)
NCCTG provides resources for the regional centers, states, and other education stakeholders to strengthen the quality of teaching—especially in high-poverty, low-performing, and hard-to-staff schools--and to find guidance in addressing specific needs.
