Driving Directions

From I-495 (Capital Beltway)
Take the Wisconsin Avenue exit (Rt. 355) south toward Bethesda, MD. Drive several miles (into the District) past Friendship Heights (Western Avenue). Watch the cross streets as they descend the alphabet (Fessenden, Ellicott, Davenport, Chesapeake, Brandywine). When you reach Brandywine, turn left. (There is a left turn lane and traffic signal.) Go one block. At the stop sign, turn left onto 40th Street. CAL is at 4646 40th Street on the left.

From Dulles International Airport
Exit the airport onto the Dulles Access Road. Exit onto I-495 North, Exit 18 toward Baltimore/Bethesda. Take exit 39, River Road East, toward Washington. After approximate 5 miles, turn left onto Chesapeake Street NW. Turn right onto Wisconsin Avenue NW. Turn left onto Brandywine Street NW. Turn left onto 40th Street NW. CAL is at 4646 40th Street on the left.

From Reagan Washington National Airport
Exit airport onto George Washington Parkway North. Take I-395 North toward Washington DC. I-395 becomes US 1 North/14th Street. Continue on 14th Street. Turn left on K Street NW. Turn right on Connecticut Avenue NW. Turn left on Albemarle Street NW. Turn right on Fort Drive NW. Fort Drive becomes Brandywine Street NW. Turn right on 40th Street NW. CAL is at 4646 40th Street NW on the left.

From Baltimore/Washington International Airport
Exit airport onto I-95 South toward Washington DC. Take Exit 27 toward Silver Spring onto I-495. Take Exit 33 toward Chevy Chase, MD. Turn left onto MD-185 South. Bear right on Chevy Chase Circle NW. Bear right on Connecticut Avenue NW. Turn right on Nebraska Avenue NW. Turn right on Chesapeake Street NW. Turn left on 40th Street NW. CAL is at 4646 40th Street NW on the right.

Parking

Metered street parking is available (2- to 4-hour limit). Circle Parking, a commercial parking lot, is located at the Whole Foods Market between Albemarle and Brandywine. Enter the parking lot from Wisconsin Avenue or 40th Street.
