Product and Service Lines Coordinator/CAL Store Manager
Division/Program: Language and Culture Resources/Adult ESL

Salary: Program Manager, $60,000 and above

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Responsible for:
- Planning and managing financial oversight of an online store
- Managing staff responsible for in-house fulfillment function
- Collaborating with the Vice President, Marketing and Company Communications Manager, and business line managers in the development of business and operational plans
- Providing guidance and support to business line managers in effective business management practices
CAL Store Responsibilities:
- Manage three fulfillment staff as the CAL Store Manager
- Develop yearly operating plan and budget
- Develop and maintain standard operating policies and procedures in close coordination with the Director of Finance
- Participate in the Product Management Team and Service Teams to ensure coordination of product-related activities and the CAL Store
- Maintain content of the CAL Store in close coordination with CAL's Marketing and Company Communications Manager and subject matter experts to ensure consistency of product information
- Oversee technical support consultant to maintain online store content
- Negotiate and implement agreements with publishers to resell specific publications
- Maintain all inventory items in CAL's financial management system, Solomon, and oversee all entry of CAL Store transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Oversee physical arrangement of the inventory and ensure accurate counting of products on a quarterly basis
- Ensure the accuracy of all invoices and royalty income statements
- Provide quarterly reports of financial activities related to products sold, royalties received, and trends
- Respond to all customer service requests that are elevated to the CAL Store Manager
Product and Service Lines Responsibilities:
- Work in close collaboration with the Product and Service Lines Director and Marketing and Company Communications Manager to assist business lines in all aspects of business planning, budgeting, and implementing yearly operational plans
- Participate in the Product Management Team to provide cost/benefit analyses, break-even analyses, pricing recommendations, and production quantity estimates.
- Provide tools and training, as needed, to business line managers in areas related to business planning, budgeting, financial oversight, sales promotions, and contact management.
- Undertake specific business activities (e.g., market research analysis, pricing, budget review, etc.) for individual business lines, if needed, and agreed upon.
- Assist in the development of annual sales projections by title and review final product sales and royalty revenue projections
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in business management and six years progressively responsible experience in assigned or related field, MBA preferred; or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
