Video Clip 8: Going to the doctor
When asked to compare going to the doctor in the United States to going to the doctor in his country, the student’s speech has some inaccuracies but is able to clearly communicate about the differences in cost, going to the emergency room, and getting medicine. You may want to watch the video several times and note your observations about the student’s oral communication skills.
