An enhanced version of the BEST Plus Score Management Software (SMS) is now available. If you have the February 2005 or earlier version of the Score Management Software (included on the maroon Best Plus Test CD in your BEST Plus Test Administrator Guide received at training) installed on your computer, you can download and install the new enhancement free of charge.

About the Score Management Software Enhancement

Based on suggestions and feedback from BEST Plus users, the enhancement allows you to:

• Run the Score Management Software directly from your computer
• Import student lists more easily
• Edit student information, classes, and sites
• Print multiple score reports at once
• Use more powerful filters to manage student and class information
• Export all of your student scores at once

Using the Score Management Software enhancement is not necessary. You can still use the version that is on your maroon CD to view your student data, print score reports, and add tests. However, you may find that you need the Score Management Software enhancement in order to correct mistakes such as testing a student under the wrong name; move a student from one class to another to create accurate lists; or to provide your data entry person with the software without having to give up one of your testing CD’s. Using the Score Management Software enhancement will not affect your test data because it will access the same BEST Plus scores database you already have on your computer. It will only expand the options available to you in viewing and managing your data.

Before you download the software enhancement, please make sure that you have run BEST Plus at least once on your computer otherwise the database will not be installed and the enhancement will not function.
