Virginia Training of Trainers

Dear Virginia CAELA team and trainers,

I think we had a very productive training last week I promised that I would type up and post a list of training concerns we talked about. You will find that below, but it is by no means complete. Please offer clarifications, suggestions, and additions by emailing me at lterrill@cal.org.

Also below you will find links to several draft activities or lesson plans from the Fairfax County, Virginia reading workshops held in 2004 and 2005. As you beginning trainings throughout the Virginia, I hope you will feel free to send information, experiences, and resources that you think will benefit the other trainers and perhaps trainers in other CAELA states.
