Celebrating 50 years: 1959 – 2009
This section of the CAL50 Web site was created in response to inquiries from collaborators, partners and friends of CAL to learn how they could be a part of CAL's 50th Anniversary Celebration.
In keeping with our mission, CAL developed the CAL50 Supporters program. Donations received from the program were used to make new resources available online and to support activities related to our mission, such as the online resource archive.
CAL50 Sponsors are organizations, companies, and associations who have donated money or in-kind services in support of our CAL50 efforts. View our list of CAL50 Sponsors.
CAL50 Contributors are individuals who have made a contribution that will be dedicated to initiatives designed to make resources available online and support activities related to our mission. View our list of CAL50 Contributors.
The mission of the Center for Applied Linguistics is to improve communication through better understanding of language and culture. CAL accepts donations to help support our mission-related activities such as making language and cultural resources available online or having volunteers contribute their expertise to the work of CAL.
