Program profiles describe the structure of each overseas CO program, covering their learner population, locations, staffing, and content and/or emphases of the CO classes. Click to see the CO program profile of Church World Service/
Resettlement Support Center (CWS/RSC) Sub-Saharan Africa, which provides CO to U.S.-bound Darfuris.
Overseas CO Lesson Plans
Each CO program develops specialized lesson plans suited for their students' background and needs. These lesson plans were contributed by CWS/RSC Nairobi as examples of those used in overseas orientation throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. Exercises used with Darfuris use less text and more visuals than those used with groups more familiar with the West.

The second was presented by the Executive Director of the Mohawk Valley Resource Center for Refugees, on that agency's experience resettling refugees from Darfuri.
