The PRM-funded COR Center curriculum, On Their Way: An Orientation Curriculum for Unaccompanied Refugee Minors, was developed for use with Unaccompanied Refugee Minors (URMs), but includes nearly 30 lesson plans relevant to general youth orientation, such as educational and cultural differences, identifying role models, rules and discipline, etc. Materials in this 313-page resource are appropriate for use by overseas and domestic orientation providers. This manual is complemented by Story of Me, an orientation workbook for participants. Videos
The COR Center has developed two PRM-funded videos (combined on one DVD) to assist refugees and refugee providers in learning about adjustment of refugee families and refugee youth to their new lives in the United States. Topics include family adjustment, discipline, school life, home life, and learning English. Order online at the CAL Store.
