Cultural Orientation Exchange Program

Each year, the Cultural Orientation Resource Center conducts the Cultural Orientation Trainers Exchange. The purpose of the exchange is to enhance linkages between overseas pre-departure Cultural Orientation and U.S. resettlement agency staff through on-site workshops, observation, and the exchange of information, curricula, and concerns. U.S.-based participants then disseminate their findings through reports, briefings given to members of their agencies and communities, and presentations at local and/or national conferences.
