US Resettlement: Domestic Service Provider Toolkit

Complete CO Curricula

This section contains links to complete CO presentations, whether posted here or available elsewhere on the Internet.

Please note: due to the localized nature of materials created for specific resettlement programs, some resources may be most useful to your program as a foundation on which to develop your own presentation or curriculum, rather than as a document immediately suitable for your own clients.

Journey of Hope: CO for Refugee Women in the U.S. is a U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants publication of six modules ( “Applied Life Skills,” “Parenting,” “Child Care,” “Health and Wellness,” “Domestic Violence,” and “Public Benefits and Community Services”), including overviews, assessments, lesson plans, information, and instructions, guiding facilitators through each topic over a number of sessions.

Minnesota Council of Churches has developed the Twin Cities Immigrant Orientation Guide, addressing emergency and basic safety information, obtaining basic documents, housing, health care, the school system, personal finance, etc.  Translations are available in Spanish and Somali.
