Patrick Hurley

Teacher in Residence, SERP San Francisco

Patrick Hurley is a teacher in residence at the SERP San Francisco site. He oversees the implementation of Word Generation in the San Francisco Unified School District and has been active in developing adaptations of the curriculum for ELLs. Patrick has 17 years’ experience in the classroom, having taught English and English Language Development at Mountain View High School (California) and served as the English Language Development Department Coordinator. He has a B.A. in English from John Carroll University and a M.A. in Education Administration from the Urban High School Leadership Program at San Jose State University.
