This project, under the direction of Eileen Zeitz, Professor of Spanish at the University of Minnesota, Duluth, is designed for K-4 Spanish instruction of approximately 40 minutes/week.

Support for Elementary Educators through Distance Education in Spanish (SEEDS)
SEEDS is a federally funded project located at the University of South Florida. It offers FLES teachers and elementary teachers wishing to integrate Spanish into their classrooms over 300 activities, Webquests, links to useful sites, readings, and blackline masters with audio and video samples. SEEDS is divided into three modules: Spanish Enhancement, Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, and Internationalising the Curriculum.
The National K-12 Foreign Language Resource Center (NFLRC) and the National Capital Language Resource Center (NCLRC)
Both centers have online resources, including a monthly online newsletter, that provide up-to-date lesson plans and activities. While the K-12 NFLRC Center was discontinued in 2010, archived material is still accessible.
