With the support of the Center for Applied Linguistics (CAL), Second Language Testing, Inc. (SLTI), Georgetown University, and the National Capital Language Resource Center (NCLRC), the East Coast Organization of Language Testers (ECOLT) will hold its thirteenth annual conference on Friday, October 10th, 2014, at Teachers College, Columbia University in New York City.

An award for best student paper, sponsored by Educational Testing Service (ETS), will also be presented at ECOLT 2014.

The plenary speaker will be Dr. Tim McNamara, University of Melbourne.

TCCRISLS 2014

The Applied Linguistics and TESOL Program at Teachers College, Columbia University will also host the 3rd Roundtable in Second Language Studies (TCCRISLS) on October 10th-12th, 2014.

TCCRISLS 2014 will focus on Learning-Oriented Assessment (LOA) and its application in L2 classrooms and assessment contexts and will begin Friday evening, just after ECOLT ends. Please consider attending both events.
