Aysun works for a travel and tour company that hires people proficient in a variety of languages to act as tour guides.  She is in charge of administering proficiency tests to potential new hires, and often finds herself explaining the results of the assessment to test-takers.

Explaining the concept of reliability to test-takers can increase their confidence in test results.  When test-takers know that the assessment is reliable, you can encourage them to work hard between tests and demonstrate their improvement.
