Get Involved

The Alliance for the Advancement of Heritage Languages aims to create a network wherein heritage language programs in community-based and K–12 settings can exchange ideas and resources with one another. Help us accomplish this goal by getting involved.

There are several ways you can get involved:

Join the Heritage Languages Listserv - Get in contact with other experts in the field of heritage languages by joining our email discussion list. You can also browse through our archive of past discussion list correspondence.

Attend a conference - We have highlighted some upcoming conferences of note. In addition, for historical purposes we maintain an archive of notable heritage language conferences from the past several years.

Become an Alliance partner - Alliance partners serve in leadership roles in a language or geographical area and contribute to the work of the Alliance in a number of ways.

Share your voice - The Alliance has developed the Heritage Voices Collection, an online series designed to allow heritage language speakers and programs to share their unique voices with visitors to our Web site. Learn more.
