South Asian Languages
The geographical area of South Asia, which includes the Indian subcontinent and surrounding countries, is rich in linguistic and cultural diversity. The South Asian Web pages were created to provide a focus on languages from this area and U.S. programs. Led by Alliance Language Representative, Dr. Surendra Gambhir, the Alliance will continue to expand information about South Asian languages and work to develop a network for those interested in sharing information.
