Formative Language Assessment for ELs
This Education Connections webinar will be held from 7:00-8:00 pm ET.
An important part of supporting the needs of English learners involves ongoing assessment of both language development, as well as content learning. In this webinar, Ms. Sarah Ottow, Professional Development Specialist, will discuss strategies for conducting classroom-based, formative language assessment that accounts for students’ growth, supports future planning, and better informs teachers’ understanding of English learners’ progress.
