The purpose of this presentation is to provide teachers with tools that will help align instruction in the dual language classroom with assessments.
During this session the presenters will outline the areas of focus that the teachers should consider when planning their classroom assessments. The presenters will explain how to make assessments proportional to instruction and how this practice will aid the teachers in receiving more accurate data regarding their students’ learning outcomes, as well as help to guide their own instructional practices.
In addition, the presenters will explore various formats of assessment specifications, including the Table of Specifications (TOS), and provide examples of the TOS as well as the checklist for creating assessment specifications.
