Schools Use Everyday Errands to Better Teach English as a Second Language

Avon Community School Corporation (Indiana) uses everyday errands as a way of helping to prepare English language learners for the start of the school year. C.O.O.L. (Community Outtings for Oral Language) Camp is a week-long program that pairs the students (who speak seven different languages among them) with the teacher they are assigned for this coming school year.
