Through 'Cool' Elective, High Schoolers Save Endangered Language

Students from three Nevada high schools are learning Paiute, a Native American language, in an elective course that aims to preserve the language. Native and non-native students are enrolled in the course, where they are learning vocabulary, sentences and other lessons, with some students planning to participate in an upcoming language competition.
