The National Institute for Literacy (NIFL) awarded The Pennsylvania State University’s Institute for the Study of Adult Literacy, in partnership with Kent State University, a grant to direct the LINCS (Literacy Information and Communication System) Workforce Competitiveness Collection. CAL provided a moderator for the English language acquisition electronic discussion list on various literacy-related topics to enhance professional development for adult educators.
