Foreign Language Test Database on the World Wide WebThe Georgetown University/Center for Applied Linguistics/George Washington University National Capitol Language Resource Center has constructed a database of foreign language tests on the Web that includes information on tests for adults, secondary school students, and university students in languages other than English. The database currently contains over 250 tests in 69 languages. Information available on each test includes test level, skills tested, test materials and format, scoring method, technical information, and contact addresses. The database location is http://www.nclrc.org/fltestdb/. It can also be accessed from the home page of the Center for Applied linguistics at www.cal.org. Choose "services," "databases," and then the foreign language test database. We are particularly interested in adding to the database tests that might be of interest to a North American audience.
