Spotlight on Spanish Activities and Resources

The Center for Applied Linguistics conducts a wide range of activities–including research, school and program services, professional development, and product development–related to Spanish language instruction, assessment, and cultural orientation. CAL’s activities and resources also span a variety of programmatic contexts in which Spanish instruction takes place, including dual language (DL), foreign language in the elementary school (FLES), Spanish for native speakers (SNS), and two-way immersion (TWI) , among others. A sampling of relevant CAL activities and resources are described on the following pages.
