National Study of School Effectiveness for Language Minority Students’ Long-Term Academic Achievement

This report presents the findings of a nationally significant study that examined the long-term academic achievement of students who participated in language support programs across the country. By analyzing student achievement data across their years of schooling, the authors draw conclusions regarding the power of program features to influence student achievement. The report documents results in more than 150 pages of tables and figures and makes recommendations for educational policy at all levels. 2002.
