Learn how to provide SIOP Model professional development tailored to the needs of your district and schools.
This comprehensive and interactive institute is designed to help participants develop and deliver SIOP Model professional development.
The Foundations institute is designed for those with a basic working knowledge of the SIOP Model through some past SIOP Model workshop attendance or self-study. Participants will review the SIOP Model and acquire knowledge and skills to help PreK-12 teachers better integrate content and language instruction for English learners.
This is the right strand for those who:
Have some experience with the SIOP Model, but have not fully implemented the Model in their classroom
Have not yet attended at least a four day SIOP introductory workshop and need a robust review of the SIOP Model
Are interested in beginning to develop the skills of a SIOP facilitator

Presentations and peer review
$1,250/person. Send 2 people or more and pay $1,200 each.
Cost includes all training materials (SIOP training manual, retail value of $199, and hand-outs) and breakfast and lunch each day.
Travel and hotel expenses are the responsibility of the participant.

Registration and Payment
Please decide about your method of payment (credit card or purchase order) at the time of registration. Your seat at the workshop will be confirmed once payment is received. If paying by purchase order, you can complete the online payment form by entering your purchase order number. If you do not have a purchase order, complete steps 1-4 on the registration form to tentatively reserve your seat and fax a signed copy of the purchase order to 888-700-3629 as soon as possible.
Participants may cancel their registration and receive a full refund three (3) weeks prior to the course start date by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. After that date, no refunds will be available. Registrants may choose to receive the workshop materials by mail or may transfer the registration to another individual up to three (3) days prior to the course start date.
