Bilingual Education
Proficiency in more than one language is a valuable skill to be cultivated and nurtured in our schools and communities. With a population proficient in a variety of languages, the United States can operate more successfully in our global society and continue to build our understanding of other nations and cultures.
From teaching English to speakers of other languages to promoting second language acquisition for native English speakers, CAL carries out projects and provides products and services designed to promote the development of high levels of proficiency in English and other languages.
