Directory of Two-Way Bilingual Immersion Programs in the U.S.
Important Notice: The Directory was updated in Summer 2007. At that time, 57 schools were removed from the Directory, for one of several reasons:
- The program's demographics indicate it is a developmental bilingual or foreign language immersion program rather than TWI
- The program closed or became a different kind of educational program (transitional bilingual or ESL)
- The program no longer met our criteria for another reason
We also added 39 new programs, most of which (but not all) opened in the last few years. If you would like to add your program, or update your entry, please click on "ADD or CHANGE TWI program information" on the TWI Directory Home Page.
