Please Note: This chart only includes programs which are currently open. Lindholm (1987) found 30 programs in 1987, 24 of which were still open in 2003. (Source: Lindholm, K.J. (1987). Also note that the Directory is made up of programs that have contacted us. The rate of growth in the last few years may be attributed to the fact that we do not know about new programs, rather than an actual change in the rate of growth of two-way immersion in general.
