Dual Language Learners in Dual Language Programs: 90:10 or 50:50?

This presentation reviews two approaches to the delivery of Dual Language Education (DLE) in pre-K and K classrooms. Ten preschool programs are reviewed for student outcomes and critical features related to DLE program implementation: staffing, creating supportive learning environments, supporting English acquisition, assessment and family recruitment and involvement.
