Immigrant Groups Seek New Language Immersion Programs in Diverse Osseo Schools

Immigrants in a culturally diverse Minnesota school district are seeking the creation of more dual language immersion programs in Hmong, Somali and Vietnamese to serve student populations and encourage the inclusion of those whose first language is not English. Osseo Area Schools' officials say options are being reviewed.
