LaNikka Bass is an Adult Language & Communication Specialist at the Center for Applied Linguistics. She is responsible for supporting the recruitment and selection processes associated with CAL’s Adult Language work with the English for Heritage Language
Speakers program, and planning and executing sponsored projects. Nikki brings experience and a proven track record of success in the areas of Communications, Language Education, and Administration, which will be invaluable in meeting the departmental goals and objectives. Nikki graduated from Ashford University with an undergraduate degree in Communications and has a Master of Arts in Education.
Before joining CAL, she served in various roles including Administrative Assistant, ESL Online Educator, and Social Media Manager. In her free time, Nikki enjoys traveling with both her family and social circle. She also loves to spend hours in a corner of the library or bookstore reading mystery/thriller books. Every once in a while, she will throw in a romance novel just to shake things up a bit. In addition to reading, she also enjoys going to plays, museums, art galleries, and spoken word/poetry readings.
