Submit a Program Profile
The Alliance is collecting profiles of heritage language programs and related resources within and beyond the formal education system to promote information sharing and capacity building.
By submitting a profile about your heritage language program, you can help the Alliance continue to expand the Online Collection of National Heritage Language Program Profiles and thus create a more complete network in which heritage language programs can exchange ideas and resources with one another.
Please read the following tips before starting your profile:
- The profile form will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
- Try to complete the form in one sitting. If you stop, with the intention of completing it later, your work will NOT be saved, and you will have to restart at the beginning.
- After clicking submit, your profile will be reviewed and, if applicable, posted on the Heritage Languages in America Web site.
- If you have questions or concerns, please email Joy Peyton at CAL or contact her by phone at 202-362-0700 x545
- If we have questions, we will contact you.
- If you prefer to submit a hard copy of your profile, you can download a PDF version and fax or mail it to
Jacqueline Lopez
4646 40th Street NW
Washington, DC 20016-1859
Fax: (202) 362-3740
- If a question does not apply to your program, simply write N/A (not applicable) in the answer box. This will inform us that you have read the question and that it does not apply to your program.
- Remember: The purpose of these profiles is to allow others to learn about your program, so you will want to provide as much information as possible.
The Online Collection of National Heritage Language Programs will allow us to showcase, preserve, and share information about the linguistic and cultural resources that we possess as a nation. Thank you for taking part in the project!
