BEST Plus 3.0 Training of Trainers
BEST Plus 3.0 trainers hold a critical role in BEST Plus 3.0 training. They are experienced test administrators who have completed extensive requirements and are authorized to deliver local BEST Plus 3.0 test administrator training workshop within their state.

BEST Plus 3.0 Training of Trainers Process
To ensure reliable and rigorous test administrator training across states, all BEST Plus 3.0 trainers are required to complete CAL-approved training and maintain a valid certificate status before they are authorized to facilitate training workshops. The goal of such training is to ensure that all prospective BEST Plus 3.0 trainers have:
- Proven experience with and adherence to the BEST Plus 3.0 administration protocol
- Proven scoring accuracy with BEST Plus 3.0 tasks
- Mastery of the trainer responsibilities and required skills to facilitate training workshops

Experienced BEST Plus 3.0 test administrators now have the opportunity to become certified BEST Plus 3.0 trainers through a self-paced online course. This course can take anywhere between a few days to several weeks to complete.
The online course includes the following modules:
- Module 1: BEST Plus 3.0 Training of Trainers Overview
- Module 2: Preparing for a Workshop
- Module 3: Preparing to be a Trainer
- Module 4: Obtaining Your Certification
