Anthony Tassi is an independent filmmaker and a three-time Emmy Award winning creator, producer and writer of educational television for English language learners and for Spanish-speaking parents.  Anthony was formerly the Chief Executive Officer at Literacy Partners, where immigrant and low-income parents go to advance the literacy and language skills they need for success in today’s world and to create a brighter future for their children. He joined Literacy Partners after leading the New York City Mayor’s Office of Adult Education for five years during the Bloomberg Administration. Previously, he served as a health policy advisor in the Mayor’s Office for four years.

A graduate of Johns Hopkins University and the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, Anthony resides in Brooklyn, New York with his partner and daughter.
