The Center for Applied Linguistics (CAL) is seeking detail‐oriented and reliable undergraduate or graduate students to help verify answer keys for a battery of selected-response, K–12 English language proficiency assessments in Listening and Reading.
To complete this task successfully, participants must have a high level of English proficiency and a very basic familiarity with using a personal computer. Participants will take the tests individually, within a small group setting. Each session lasts approximately 2 hours, at a rate of $50.00 per session.
Key check will be held virtually via the Zoom Meeting platform. Participants must have a computer, headphones, and access to a quiet, private space during the test sessions.

*Please note that you will be assigned to one or more sessions based on the availability of participants and scheduling considerations at CAL. Because not all of the sessions listed above will occur, it is best to report all possible availability.
If selected to participate in this task, you will be required to sign and submit a non-disclosure agreement. You will be required to complete the entire session to earn payment for that session. Payments will be issued as electronic Visa gift cards.
As per CAL’s policy, in accordance with INS regulations, all successful applicants will be required to show proof of their legal right to accept employment in the United States.
