Rachel graduated from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL with a Bachelor’s in English Literature as her major and a minor in Women’s Studies, Prior to joining CAL, Rachel has been a high school English instructor with Orange County Public Schools and a tutor for ACT/SAT students on the weekends. Rachel has previously worked as a writing tutor and peer editor. Rachel would describe her professional field as “secondary critical reading and writing instruction.” Broadly, she’s interested in educational methods and research into best practices for differentiation in student instruction.
