Elyssa Sun is an Associate Project Manager in CAL’s Language Assessment and Instructional Research (LAIR) Division, where she leads a variety of projects in the areas of assessments, research, and professional development related to adult English language and K-12 world language education.

Elyssa holds a master’s degree in TESOL from Teacher’s College, Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Literature. Prior to joining CAL in 2019, she worked as a Linguistics Specialist for a world language publishing company in New York and taught ESL/EFL in Sri Lanka and China.
