Project

National Capital Language Resource Center (NCLRC)

CAL worked with Georgetown University and The George Washington University to operate the NCLRC, a foreign language resource center. CAL developed tests, provided information on materials for teaching the less commonly taught languages, trained teachers, and used multimedia to provide learning materials about testing.

The NCLRC offered assessment tools, provided information on materials for teaching the less commonly taught languages, trained teachers, and provided learning materials in testing using multimedia.

CAL continues to be involved with the annual East Coast Organization of Language Testers (ECOLT) conference. Learn more.
