Skillpac: English for Industry (1985)

This six-minute promotional/informational video introduces CAL’s Skillpac interactive videodisc training project which aimed to assist workers in the Indonesian oil industry to learn technical English language skills. These skills were needed because print materials on operations in the oil industry, including operator’s manuals and almost all of the equipment and systems descriptions, were written for readers fluent in English.
